500g Beef bones
300g Rice noodles
1, quartered Onion
1 piece, halved Ginger
2 pieces Star anise
4 pieces Cloves
1 Cinnamon stick
3 tbsp Fish sauce
1 cup Fresh basil
1 cup Bean sprouts
1, cut into wedges Lime
to taste Chili peppers

In a large pot, boil the beef bones in water for about 10 minutes to remove impurities. Drain and rinse the bones.

Add the cleaned bones back to the pot along with 3 liters of fresh water, onion, ginger, star anise, cloves, and cinnamon. Simmer for at least 30 minutes.

Strain the broth and return it to the pot. Add fish sauce for seasoning. Cook rice noodles according to package instructions, then serve the noodles in bowls topped with hot broth, fresh basil, bean sprouts, lime wedges, and chili peppers.
