Mamoul (Eid biscuits)
Mamoul are delicate, melt-in-your-mouth shortbread cookies dusted with powdered sugar, traditionally served during Eid celebrations. Their texture strikes a perfect balance—crisp at the edges yet tenderly crumbly within, while the subtle sweetness of the dough is enriched by a generous dose of butter and a hint of semolina for depth. Shaped by hand into crescents or balls, these biscuits are as satisfying to make as they are to share, offering a fragrant, buttery richness that feels both nostalgic and universally comforting. Worth every minute in the kitchen, they’re a timeless treat that turns any gathering into a celebration.

For the dates filling, fry some sesame in a pan then add butter. Add the dates paste and mixed well with sesame and butter. Then add a little bit of water until it's mushy. Be careful don't make it too mushy.
