German Leberkäse Meatloaf

German Leberkäse is a rich, comforting meatloaf that captures the heart of Bavarian comfort food. Ground beef and pork meld with caramelized onions, garlic, and a hint of nutmeg, creating a deeply savory flavor with a tender, moist texture. The breadcrumbs, soaked in milk, ensure every bite stays juicy, while a crisp golden crust forms as it bakes. Served with sharp mustard and tangy pickles, it’s a dish that delivers smoky, spiced warmth in every slice—perfect for a cozy meal with roots in tradition.
