Classic French Mussels
Classic French mussels simmer in a fragrant broth of white wine, garlic, and shallots until their briny shells burst open, releasing tender, oceanic sweetness. The velvety buttermilk and rich butter mellow the acidity of the wine, while fresh parsley brightens each bite with herbal contrast. This dish is a masterclass in simplicity, where a handful of ingredients transform into something deeply satisfying—effortless elegance on a plate. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a gathering, it proves that great flavor often lies in restraint.
