Arepa Pabellón

The Arepa Pabellón is a vibrant Venezuelan dish that layers crispy fried plantains, shredded beef, creamy black beans, and fresh cheese between a golden arepa. Each bite delivers a satisfying contrast of textures—crunchy plantains, tender meat, and a gooey, melty center—while the savory-sweet balance of the plantains and the rich, seasoned beef create a deeply satisfying flavor profile. This dish is worth making for its bold, homey appeal and its ability to bring the warmth of Venezuelan comfort food to the table with minimal effort.
